IPS Co-Packing and Sustainability
As IPS has continued to develop and flourish, we recognise the need to be socially accountable – to itself, our stakeholders and the public. Our aim to be conscious of the impact on all aspects of society, including economic, environmental and within the community.
Net Zero Workforce
IPS has placed our Sustainability and ESG goals at the core of our business and we have partnered with The Nvolve Group to help us deliver on a visible, auditable and actionable Connected Workforce Strategy. By providing a digital training and engagement platform, this 9 Point Strategy will help in achieving our goal of 100% paperless training and deliver paper waste reduction and engagement throughout IPS.

Our Plan
The primary focus of IPS will be on emission reduction, not offsetting.
100% Electric Car Fleet
Zero To Landfill By 2018 2024
100% Renewable Heat By 2030
Net Zero By 2035
100% Renewable Electricity
What Is Meant By ‘Net Zero’?
As the world embarks on a ‘Race to Zero’, meeting the Paris Agreement goal of holding the increase in to well below 2 degrees above preindustrial levels, and pursuing efforts to limit that the global average temperature increase to 1.5 degrees, will require an unprecedented global effort to halve greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions this decade, achieve a ‘net zero’ position by 2050 at the latest and shift to an overall removal of GHGs on an annual basis post 2050.

Renewable Energy
IPS understand that to be able to make a positive impact on waste, we first have to understand the waste that is being created. Through a waste stream analysis at all IPS sites, we have a greater depth of knowledge about what waste is being created and then can effectively formulate a plan on the best way to tackle the waste to become ‘Zero to Landfill’ by 2018-2024 on our journey to becoming ‘net zero’.
